Exploring the effects of digitally manipulated family archival imagery, Eternal Now exists as a conversation between the past and present effects of time. The piece approaches the idea of home and place as something that is always fluid. Colour exploration and manipulation plays a role in this piece by creating a juxtaposition of high contrast between the collaged images. Aiming to show the many layers of ones history, Eternal Now is a conversation between personal family history and moments of time connected across years constructed in present day.

The Passing

The Passing, takes a series of cinematic photographs and arranges them to create a snapshot of a scene. Mimicking film colouring, these images replicate cinematic compositions through digital manipulation that brings each photograph to life. When viewed in relationship with each other the juxtaposed images create a bridge between two moments in time creating a connection from a moment in the characters’ past. An abstract representation of perception, these works embody the artist's curiosity towards the effects of curated images and their implied narrative for their viewers.
